Australia’s leading textile recycler and the country’s most innovative disability services organisation have joined forces to create a unique capacity-building program. By pooling our resources and expertise, we aim to provide a comprehensive and effective training program that enhances the employment skills and capabilities of our participants. Through this partnership, we’re going beyond expectations, stigma, and the labels of the clothes we divert from landfill. We hope to create a program that has as much of an impact environmentally as it does socially!

UPPAREL is making great strides in preventing textiles from ending up in landfills. Participants will learn essential skills through hands-on experiences in sorting and decommissioning, while actively contributing to sustainability. This program empowers individuals to track their impact on the environment and gain valuable social and employment skills.
