Employment Eligibility
Relevant Qualifications
A certificate or diploma in disability support or community services is generally required.
Experience
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued and preferred.
Background Checks
A National Police Check and a Working with Children Check are essential for safety.
NDIS Worker Module
Completing the NDIS Worker Orientation Module is mandatory for all support workers.
First Aid & CPR Cert
Up-to-date First Aid and CPR certifications are often required for emergency situations.
Good Communication Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective participant support.
